Regularly, I get calls where people say, “Is there some sort of software program or book I can buy to help me study?”
I always say, “Yes, the book that you used in class, Florida Real Estate Principles, Practices, & Law by Linda Crawford has everything you need to know. Also, the Florida Real Estate Exam Manual for Sales Associates and Brokers by Linda Crawford. It has about 400 practice questions. Do every single question in that book. Those two books are the only thing you need.”
Typically, they will say, “Is there any other way?” It sounds to me like they are asking if there is any way to pass the real estate exam without studying. The answer to that is a resounding no. There is no shortcut.
When those same people call to tell me they failed, I always ask, “Did you do every single questions in the Exam Manual?”
Invariably, they say, “I did some of them.” Well, maybe that’s why you only got some of them right on the state exam.
You don’t need to spend lots of money on fancy programs, apps, or books. Just get these two books. Study like your career depends on it, and you will pass.
